Welcome to our Booking Process page, where we highlight how your journey to a perfect and beautiful smile, healthier living, and your dream holiday begins with simplicity, transparency, and ease with just 10 easy steps.
Discover how seamless it is to arrange your dental treatment and luxury experiences in South Africa. From initial free consultation to personalised treatment plans, curated travel arrangements, 3+, 4 or 5-star accommodation, our dedicated teams ensure that every detail is meticulously handled.
Step 1: Choose City
Once you have reviewed our website to better understand our Services, Treatments, level of approved South African Practitioners, and the variety of Experiences & Accommodation available to visit, decide whether either Cape Town or Johannesburg will be your preferred city for treatment.
Step 2: Choose Dental Clinic
Decide on your preferred South African Dental Clinic by considering your chosen city, the team and practitioner’s qualifications, experience levels, customer reviews and ratings, testimonials, and the likely level of investment required, broadly rated on an affordability scale between £ (lowest) and ££££ (highest). Indicative treatment investment levels can also be found under each clinic's "Treatments" subheading.
Step 3: Basic Info Questionnaire
Like what you see and ready to book a free 30-minute first consultation with your chosen South African Practitioner? Click 'Book Free Consultation' to answer a few quick details to help personalise your first video call.
Step 4: Book Free Consultation
Once you’ve completed the Basic Info Questionnaire with a few quick details you’ll be able to choose your preferred Dental Clinic and either request or directly book a suitable date and time for your initial consultation, depending on the clinic's availability. After submitting your request, you’ll receive a confirmation or a follow-up from the clinic. A Zoom meeting link will be provided once your consultation is confirmed.
During your consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your desired results, personal requirements, post-care needs, preferred dates, expected process, and any questions you may have.
Step 5: Pre-Travel Imaging
Following your free consultation, if 2D/3D imaging or X-rays are required prior to travel, our office can refer you to one of over 600 UK dental clinics near your preferred postcode. Please note that in such instance, the cost of these scans will be payable directly by the patient. If you already have recent imaging or scans, we recommend checking with your South African practitioner to see if they are still relevant and can be used.
Step 6: Level Of Investment
If 2D/3D imaging or X-rays are required and obtained, they are to be shared with your chosen South African practitioner. The practitioner will review these images alongside your questionnaire responses and personal requests to prepare a detailed cost estimate tailored to your specific treatment plan. Combined with your selected South African experiences, tours or packages, and accommodation options, this will provide you a fair understanding of the investment required for your perfect smile and dream holiday.
Please note that accommodation and excursion prices may vary based on seasonality, and that flight costs and medical tourism insurance are yet to be added (see Step 9 for details).
Step 7: Need Finance?

Step 8: Formal Investment Proposal
Ready to take the next step? Simply contact us by sending us your preferred travel dates along with your choice of accommodation, packages, and tours. Together with your treatment cost estimate, our dedicated travel managers will review your request, coordinate with our trusted partners, and revert to you with a formal Investment Proposal tailored to your exact selections, factoring in seasonality and availability.
Step 9: Flights & Specialised Medical Tourism Insurance
One final consideration is your flights and specialised medical tourism insurance, both of which will need to be inquired directly. For insurance, you may wish to explore Medical Travel Shield for a personalised quotation. For flights, you can connect with our travel partners at Flight Centre where every client is assigned a dedicated flight desk manager who will assist in securing competitive travel options tailored to your airline preferences, travel class, seat selection, lounge access, baggage requirements, use of travel points, and any other specific needs.
At this stage, we will provide you with your travel manager’s direct contact details. You’ll also benefit from Flight Centre’s dedicated travel support and 24/7 assistance lines, ensuring peace of mind in the event of any changes or travel emergencies.
Step 10: Investment Proposal Acceptance
Once you’ve firmed up your flights, arranged your medical tourism insurance, and accepted our Investment Proposal, a 50% deposit will be required to secure your entire trip (please note that a 100% deposit is required if travel is scheduled within the next 90 days). From there, based on your confirmed travel dates, selected South African dental clinic and treatment plan, as well as your preferred accommodation, excursions, and travel arrangements, our team will coordinate and secure every detail of your journey—ensuring you’re well on your way to achieving the perfect smile and enjoying your dream holiday with complete peace of mind.
