This VIP offering is available to distinguished guests who are looking for the full service that begins at the airside terminal, the moment you step off the aircraft. Be sure to look out for your name printed on a name board and held by our airport security-approved airside handler.

Once you are identified, you will be assisted and escorted through passport control, baggage collection and customs.  As you enter the arrivals hall, our Guest Service Officer will be waiting to assist you further. You can relax because we are the airport experts, ensuring your total comfort and peace of mind to get you to where you need to be. Your private service includes a complimentary refreshment, whilst we enjoy a conversation about your travel arrangements. This is the ideal time for you to ask any questions you may have about your stay with us.

Boschendal is located in Franschhoek with access to this historic wine farm. In-house guests get to savour the best of farm living.

Join their experienced guides on a morning farm tour or explore the wine estate on foot, following trails that take you through orchards and mountain fynbos. There are world-class mountain biking and hiking trails to explore, wine tasting to enjoy, beautiful dams to swim in and plenty of opportunities to sit back, relax and breathe in the splendour of nature.

There are a variety of outdoor activities to choose from, get time to unwind and take a well-deserved break. With an emphasis on stylish simplicity, our cottages are ideal for authentic farm living with a contemporary feel.

DAY 2

Breakfast at the hotel before a Full Day of Touring.

Private - Full Day Cape Peninsula (excluding Kirstenbosch)

Guests should get their cameras ready; they are headed for Cape Point at the southwestern tip of the Cape Peninsula, and the most spectacular views in the world. The drive there is just as inspiring, passing steep mountains, secluded coves, and sweeping beaches, as well as villages and fishing communities. The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay with its glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range.

Guests will continue to the fishing village of Hout Bay, one of Cape Town's best-kept secrets. Here there is an option to take a short boat trip to Seal Island (for own account & time permitting) to view the Cape Fur Seals, which inhabit the island.

From here guests will travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, comprising over 17,300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora.  Here we can see a variety of wildlife that includes baboons, Reebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok, and the elusive eland. The reserve is also one of the world's largest breeding grounds for tortoises. Birdwatchers, too, will find many rare species to observe.The majestic coastline offers drama worthy of being called "Nature's Greatest Show." Guests will be able to see the union of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans (as per legend) and may even feel the brisk wind that is dubbed the "Cape Doctor" for its presumed curative powers.

Following the coastline along False Bay, guests will return to Cape Town by way of Simon's Town, where they will visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach and Fish Hoek fishing village. Guests will return to Cape Town, passing the University of Cape Town, Rhodes Memorial, and the Groote Schuur Hospital.

09:30 - Franschhoek Wine Tram - Orange Line Schedule 2

The Franschhoek Wine Tram hop on, hop off tour is one of the best ways to discover the true essence of the Franschhoek Valley picturesque vineyards, the breath taking scenery, warm hospitality, world class cuisine, fine wines and a 300 year history. Passengers aboard the hop on, hop off tour will experience a unique and leisurely way to see the Franschhoek Valley as they journey through rolling vineyards in a double decker tram and open air tram bus begins, stopping in at some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates.

A combination of tram and tram bus transports passengers around a loop of stops allowing each to hop off at every stop and experience the unique activities on offer, be it wine tasting, a cellar tour, lunch or simply a stroll through the vineyards of world-famous wine estates. When they are ready, hop on to continue the tour. The tour takes passengers right into the heart of the Franschhoek Valley, with a narration focusing on the history of Franschhoek and wine cultivation in the valley and unparalleled views of the valley and vineyards.
